BYOM (Bring your own money) luncheons offer our members the opportunity to get together and socialize during the summer months without a formal meeting or speaker.
A great place to start our summer BYOM luncheons, Tommy Bahama's is a picturesque tropical retreat offering great food in a casual atmosphere! Order off of a limited menu with all offerings under $20.00. We hope to see you in the upstairs private dining area at Tommy Bahama's! Separate checks have been arranged.
Be sure you have completed your reservation NO LATER than Monday, June 20th. Reservations and Cancellations cannot be accepted after that date. Since you will be ordering from the menu, no advance payment is required.
Charity/Raffle: Our charity (with no raffle) for June is the Foothills Animal Rescue.
Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR) is a cage-free, non-profit (501(c)3) organization that saves lives by rescue, care and adoption of homeless cats and dogs. FAR has been saving lives since 1995. They are successfully reducing homeless pets in the community through rescue, loving care and able to provide a temporary safe “haven” while working towards finding orphaned pets a forever home. They are able to shelter 60 animals, relying heavily on dedicated volunteers to socialize, exercise, groom the animals and help keep the shelter and Adoption Center clean and organized. Foothills Animal Rescue works closely with the community by providing animal welfare resources and education of responsible pet ownership.
Foothills Animal Rescue relies on helpful volunteers to perform a variety of support services including assistance with FAR’s weekly adoption activities, reception, providing foster homes for animals awaiting adoption, and the daily care of animals and facilities. They also have an ongoing need for volunteers to help with the Resale Boutique where 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the care of the rescued animals.
