Cooking School Luncheon

Newcomers welcome the members, their guest and the general public to our May monthly luncheon, we have reserved the entire space at The Gallery Café.
The Gallery Café is a student-run restaurant that is part of The International Culinary School. Although open to the public, the Gallery Café is an instructional environment where culinary students learn the different aspects of running a restaurant.

The actual menu will not be available until a week before the luncheon.
The lunch includes a choice of appetizer (pick 1 from 3), entrée (pick 1 from 3), dessert (what students are making for the day) and beverage (coffee, hot & cold tea, soft drinks).
Reserve right away because seating is limited to the first 35 .
Please be sure your completed reservation form and payment of $15.00 are received NO LATER than Monday, May 22.
Charity:
At ICM Food & Clothing Bank (formerly known as Interfaith Cooperative Ministries), they meet the basic needs of up to 180 families every day, six days a week. The following are things most of us take for granted but are an example of what is provided by ICM to those in need:
- Food
- Clothing and shoes
- Soap and shampoo
- Baby formula
ICM services are provided by volunteers, with an emphasis on hope and dignity for the individual. While helping the very poor be fed and clothed, they encourage self-sufficiency with specific assistance and education.
The cash donations collected at our May luncheon will be given to the ICM to help provide these very valuable goods and services. In addition, we will be collecting toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, body wash, laundry detergent, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes). These donations will be delivered to the ICM facility on behalf of our club.
